At the time of the creation of this page, according to UNOS, there are 103,817 people waiting for a life saving organ!

I am a Living Kidney Donor. I donated my kidney altruistically in 2013, over 10 years ago! My recipient has since lived a full life, with many new grandchildren by his side! Donation has only changed my life in good ways! In fact, my health is so good that my labs don’t even tell you that I only have one kidney! I am currently an active kayaker and cyclist and love to Geocache along the way, so why not use it to spread the word?

I am also a Family Care Specialist for an Organ Procurement Organization in Texas. I support families who are donating their loved ones’ organs at then end of their life. Please make sure your loved ones know your wishes, whatever they are!?
